Hes addicted to Vikodin and xanax
Now hes in jail since last friday for armed robbery, assault and battery to his cousin and possession of illegal drugs. He commited that crime back in 1999 and just now went to jail for it.
If he is that bad off that he would steal from you - I think you should reconsider calling him your boyfriend.
Yeah, I know addicts have a sickness that cannot be control - and I have empathy for them. But most addicts take people they love down a long dark road of unhappiness, years of rehab and relapse and years of sadness and unbelievable events.
You need to decide if you him love enough to crawl into gutter and the toilet waste with him - he might be 40 or 50 or 60 before he finally decides he has had enough - watch the reality show on addiction and how it rips the souls of loved ones and families apart. He might want to love you but his addiction will be his first love until he confronts the issues that put him there and some people have no desire to confront those issues - therefore they spend a great deal of their lives in a fog.
I'm not telling you to run out on your man - but can you do the time. You will have walk around with your money all the time and lock everything of value away; some addicts are push to "KILL" for a fix or kill while under the influence of drugs - love has nothing to do with addiction - so do not think if he really loves you he would quit!
