Can I chain Call of the Haunted with an opponent's spell card that special summon a monster from my graveyard?
What I mean is, can I retrieve my monster before my opponent does using "Call of the Haunted" as Chain 2, is it right that he cannot replay and then choose another target in my graveyard since i took he's chosen monster to special summon?
You can chain call of the haunted to say a monster reborn (which is baned of course) but he can redirect his target because once a monster comes into play spells, traps and attacks can all be redirected. For example, i run a harpie deck. say they used monster reborn to bring back my harpie i can just activate call of the haunted and bring it back because chains work starting with the last card played. After that a monster is summoned so he is allowed to redirect the target to say bladefly in my graveyard or stardust in his graveyard.
