Is there such thing as 'ULTRA' clearance in governmental departments such as the CIA, FBI and DOD?
Is there such thing as 'ULTRA' clearance in governmental departments such as the CIA, FBI and DOD? For example, my (not the playful/lying type) grandfather who served in the US Army says he knew a man who was a CIA agent and had a badge that said he had 'ULTRA-5' security clearance. Does this exist?
During my time in the Navy I had dealings with spooks from time to time. I don't recall anyone who had their security clearance on their badge, and I've never heard of "ULTRA-5" security clearance. Maybe "ULTRA-5" was a level or section of a building that the badge gave access to.
