whats the formula to yield those numbers, what do they mean, and how do they reflect on the stock?
its for a presentation, most groups just read off the numbers, kinda lame but i wanna make mine a notch higher... hope could get some help from u experts ^^
Volume is the number of shares traded for the day.
Average volume for three months is the total volume divided by the number of trading days for the last three months.
Market capitalization is the number of shares outstanding times the price of one share of stock.
P/E ttm is the current price of the stock divided by the total earnings per share for the last four quarters.
EPS is earnings per share, total earnings for the company divided by the number of shares outstanding. Usually expressed on diluted basis, which means taking into account all securities that could be converted into stock, as well as options that havent been exercised.
Dividend yield is the amount of the dividend divided by the price of the stock. The dividend itself is usually expressed by the annual amount, which is usually paid in even amounts on a quarterly basis.
The one year target is the average estimate by all the analysts who cover the stock. They use valuation methods like discounted cashflow analysis to come up with estimates.
