I thought the National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) was classified. Was it released or leaked?
The 2003 NIE report on Iraq was classified.
Why would Bush let it be released, it showed him to be completely wrong!

It wasn't leaked. According to the news, Bush wanted an investigation. So, that is what they are doing. It actually was a political report. Was bought up to Bush. If you think that Iran is not still enriching Uranium. Then you are not that bright. Iran is a threat to a lot of Countries including the US. John Bolton whom I do admire says the same thing. The report has to many inconsistencies.
