Quang Tri province and particularly Khe Sahn and the former DMZ area? The area was called "leatherneck" alley when I was there long ago.
You want to get a hold of Chuck Searcy at Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. He's a Vietnam Veteran and the representative for VVMF in Vietnam. I bet you will be quite interested in his project if you spent time in Quang Tri province during the War.
Chuck is instrumental in creating and maintaining Project RENEW, which is dealing with landmines and unexploded ordnance in and around Quang Tri. I assure you that Chuck and his staff at Project RENEW know more about Quang Tri coming from your perspective than any tour guide you can find at any price in Vietnam.
