Vietnam - 101st Airborne?

I know that my dad was in the 101st Airborne (Screaming Eagles) in Vietnam. He was infantry, but I forgot to ask him which brigade (?). Know any specific websites that I can look to for that info?? He is still alive, if that matters, but I don't want to call him just to ask him that! He rarely talks about 'nam anyway.
And for anyone who happens to answer me that has served our country...I Thank You ahead of time for your service!

The "fightin' 101. Brave men, everyone. Although I did not serve with them, I did live in Hopkinsville Kentucky and witnessed how poorly the servicemen were treated by the local businessmen. Their opinion of the Ft Campbell inhabitants was deplorable.
Then the 101 was shipped out. The local businessmen were devistated. Businesses closed and the economy took a big hit.

When the bulk of the 101 came back it was a different story temporarily. I was transfered out of Hoptown ( and still thank God for it) so I don't know if the treatment ever improved.

Go to any 101st Airbore website.

Your dad won't talk about it because he was probably one of the "real" heroes. They seldom talk about it... but those who didn't see too much action will talk your ears off , explaining their "acts of heroism" to you.
