Tuesday, January 18th, 2011Can red-green color blindness eliminate me from the aviation program for the Army?
I am a 20 year old man and I am currently involved in the National Guard, Army. I am going to WLC this summer and should be finished my undergraduate degree within the next year. I regularly score 300 or better on the APFT. I was told that I am an excellent candidate for school, but WOC do not know if my condition I eliminates the aviation program? Go on active duty and become a pilot is my goal. Appreciate the help.
You can be on a crew driving, but not a pilot. You can learn to fly as a civilian property. The FAA has no rule colorblind.
