How Messerschmitt Bf 109 exist today. Is there a database somewhere a list of survivors vintage military aircraft?
I do not think that the historian has ever tried to follow every single Bf 109. They were made in many countries, even in the 1950s. Spain was in control of their (Hispanics) into the 1960s. Isreal was even some that they flew against Spitfires Egyptian 48, 49. Read the Wikipedia article for more specific information and more links.
