Force Recon troopers work for and take commands from the marine corps. They specalize in infiltrating enemy lines and reporting back, preparing the way for an assualt/invasion. They deploy in small squads and are very special mission oriented.
Army Rangers work for the army and are the primary stand by personel for fast breaking conflicts. Enough transports are kept on standby for the Rapid Response force to deploy anywhere in the world within 48 hours. Rangers Specalize in airborne assualt, especially of airfields. Its generally agreed that Rangers can assualt and capture 95% of the worlds airports within 20 minutes of touching down. They deploy in large numbers and are oriented towards general assault and rapid response combat.
