Friday, August 6th, 2010Gears of War Host Cannot due to NAT moderate?
Hi there, I tried for two days to host games on Gears of War my xbox is plugged into my laptop, I have a Linksys WRT54G and a stranger. I have been using the Belkin for about a year and a half and went 2 days ago. had about seven games Gears of War, but the connection is slow and disconnect regularly. However, the report Linksys is perfect except the difference of the Belkin (who had opened a NAT) Linksys gives me moderate and it seems that I cannot host games with her. I tried to put my Xbox in the DMZ, but the IP seems to be switching and Im a bit confused about what to do now someone else has had this problem who can help please!

On your laptop go into your router settings (in the address bar type 192.168.20.1 (Thats defalut)) You can turn off the firewall, or contact Microsoft support and ask them what ports to open.
