Starting out from relative obscurity on the steppes of
Russia they spread out to conquer half the known world
and , in doing so, imposed their language, culture and
religion on the subjected peoples.
They gave us the civilizations of Greece, Rome, Persia
and India.
They gave us the English, Spanish and French languages.
Their religious thought forms the basis of all four major
world religions.
Was there ever a race so successful?
Indo-European is not a race but a language group. People of various races speak IE languages, and other members of the same racial groups speak other, non-IE languages.
And, by the way, the latest research suggests the the ur-IE language originated in the plains of what is now Poland.
