Good Condition
Monday, March 8th, 2010How do I keep a competition swim suit in good condition for a long time?
I swim on a swim team and I want to know how I can keep my suit in good condition for a while. My last one doesn't look so great...
Only wear the suit when you need to race. If you want a lot of time out of the suit I'd say swim warm ups with another suit and then change into the new one for your races. I'm trying to get some time out of my current race suit but I'm not going crazy over it myself but as for the cold water thing as mentioned I've honestly never tried it. Of course any water will get some chlorine out but as for the cold part I honestly couldn't tell you anything about that.
Oh, and another thing: don't keep the suit in your bag or any place like that, keep it where it won't get stretched out and it also won't get faded out. You should probably fold it and put it in a safe place in a locker I'd say, that way it won't get faded from overexposure to light.
