Green Beret

I have heard many different answers to this question, I even asked my recruiter ... Unfortunately, for reasons that are beyond me, he knew nothing about a green beret ... perhaps because they are SF and it is not supposed to know .... I do not know, I have heard of their being trained to train foreign troops, but is this just an example types of missions they do? someone else has noticed it is harder to find in-depth literature on the beret Green it is our Navy Seals?
