A challenger to Kerry is Jeff Beatty, an ex-Army Delta Force officer. In addition, Jim Ogonowski, a retired Air Force pilot is an aspirant.
Kerry is challenged by defense attorney Edward O'Reilly for the Democratic nomination.
Supporters hope that Kerry will not be carried away by some bad jokes that may wreck his campaign boat in the Mekong Delta of Massachusetts politics.
John Gite, point well taken Kerry is one of Obama Dem advisers.

I am a delegate for the state and I have talked to a lot of other delegates i dont know of any who are planning to support ed. Thats the only person who could give him any type of run for his money, at this point in time, it doesn't look like he will.
John Kerry will win by his usual 70-80 percent with his challengers getting around 15 and some write-in clowns getting 5.
Jeff Beatty is a moron, and in this state that doesn't go over well for any candidate running.
Oganowski couldn't win a district rep job, senate is way out his league.
