Patch Subdued

The type of patch worn can depend on many factors including but not limited to the type of uniform and the unit standard. On the dress uniform you will always see full color unit patches, on woodland camo BDU's you might see a green subdued scheme, on desert DCU's you most likely will find a desert palette, and on the newer ACU's you will encounter a grey/black color pattern.
