Vietnam Propaganda
Sunday, January 30th, 2011In Prisoners of War Korean War were often brainwashed. Has this happened in Vietnam?
I agree that this story could be the propaganda of the 1950s to maintain an aversion to North Koreans and Chinese, but the question must always be sought. Kalverie, If please specify I see what you thought was MEST sayhere butthe wee while brainwashed to the extent they have become agents of influence for communism. I do not know how true this is, it seems a little 1984 to me, but I noticed the impossible often
There was supposedly Prisoners of war who openly collaborated with their captors, but no known cases of American POWs refusing repatriation home. To put things Perspectives around 7-8000 American and British soldiers were captured in the Korean War. Of these, only 22 of them refused to be repatriated. Although the number was small, it certainly western soldiers. Since then, the best recruits receive psychological screening and training methods to reduce the chances of this happening again.
