Sunday, March 7th, 2010Ranger School, how tough is it??
Is there anyone here who has been to Ranger School and can tell me, in an honest assessment, no exaggerations or bragging please, how tough it really is? Because Its pretty much my dream in life to one day have that Ranger tab on my shoulder.
Listen i was station at 6th ranger training battalion which is the last stage of ranger school, the jungle phase. You need to be very physically strong to last the 3 months it will take and most importantly you will need to be able to endure extreme pain mentally. You will be F-ed with by everyone, you will be hungry the whole time and you will be tired. You will have to show good leadership skills and great disciple.
The most important things is don't quit, when it hurts just keep pushing. Don't stop, no matter what happens don't let it bother you. It will be the longest 3 months of your life but looking back it will be the most important 3 months you will ever live.
