Vintage Military
Tuesday, July 20th, 2010I want to make a calendar with vintage pics of me for my military man who could help me with that?
I remember seeing a TV segment of a photographer that recreated vintage scenes and made all the pics into a calendar and the lady sent to her hubbie in the military. I love the idea so much I want to do it too. anyone have any idea on how to go about this?
It's not an easy thing to come up with 12 seasonal costumes and sets. You should call the largest studios near you (in the biggest city near you) and ask if they have done this. It may come down to how much you are willing to pay and/or how far you are willing to travel.
Another option would be a one photo calendar. One large pin-up photo with all the months below the photo.
If you live near or on a base and can get enough other wives/GFs to do this it would make it a reasonable proposition for a local photographer. I like the idea, I hope you find a solution.
