Tuesday, September 7th, 2010Why Can We Join The Military At 17 But Not Police Dept.?
I am really confused at why you can join the army at 17 but you cant be a police officer til your 21. I have nothing aganist the military im actually in the national guard as a 13 bravo with the 27th infantry div.I am just real courios to why? It makes no sense to me?
Okay, think about this for a second, how many 17 year old's ship to boot-camp?!?! Thus not really "Joined".
In regards to 21, Police Officer's in different states have different age requirements, not to mention different forces, State, City, County, ect.
