Uss Ranger
How do you know if you are more fit to be a Navy SEAL or a US Army Ranger?
If you're over 16 and haven't made up your mind, probably neither.
Do your research. Find out the requirements. Can you swim fast enough? Can you run fast enough. Can you climb high enough? Are you smart enough? Have you stayed out of trouble... any kind of trouble? If you meet the posted criteria... without having to consider getting a waiver... then you can take your pick. If you exceed the posted criteria, maybe go for the one the criteria for which you've exceeded the most.
Also look at the cultures. The Army and the Navy are different. It's not just the uniforms. They think differently. They act differently.
If you don't have the drive to do the research... if you wait for somebody to give you the links or cut and past the information... then probably neither.
Once you get all the information... and it's time to make the decision, make it. You're the one who's going to be jumping out of a plane, locking out of a sub, or rappelling from a chopper. If you're worried about making the wrong one, I can almost guarantee you're going to make some... it's part of the "human" thing. But you make the best decisions you can... and you take responsibility for them and their consequences... that's part of the "adult" thing.

Just replace "battle decision" with "life decision" and you'll have it.
I guess I'm throwing it back in your lap. I'm not going to try to advise you either way. You know more about you and what you want in life than I possibly can. It absolutely needs to be your decision.
