How to apply a label/logo onto a hi vis vest?
does anyone know how you can affix a badge/logo onto a hi vis vest...
i have a hi viz issued by my work but they no longer issue them due to a change in how we are all employed...
i have the logo/bage its printed on a hi viz patch and its never been sewn on..
does anyone know of an adhesive or something like that that would let me repair my vest?
Unless the back of the badge is heavily gunked up with a plastic adhesive, I'd just sew it on, by hand or machine. It's the most durable method.
I don't know if they are available in the UK, but there are a number of PVA based glues that are designed for this sort of thing, like: http://www.save-on-crafts.com/oktowash.html But you could also use a silicone based compound such as those used for shoe sole repairs (http://eclecticproducts.com/shoegoo.htm) or even the silicone based caulks used for building aquariums and other things that need to be waterproof:
