Dalai Lama awarded a US congressional gold medal for war crimes?
Why is Dalai Lama seeking independence for Tibet? this man is responsible for the violence in the last fortnight in Tibet.
and why does he always make comments about China while in exile? why doesn't he make those comments about China whilst in China?
He fled from Tibet like a coward 50 years ago.
Remove the US congressional gold medal and send him on court trial in China for inciting violence and threatening their sovereignity.
1. HH the Dalai Lama doesn't seek independence for Tibet. He's repeatedly said that's not possible, but the Tibetans and Chinese should learn to live peacefully side by side. The only thing he asks for is letting the Tibetans keep their religion and culture, which is now systematically being disintegrated by the Chinese regime.
2. He's surely not responsible for the violence, since violence is the last thing he wants to promote.
3. The main reason he always have to make comments about China is that everyone constantly asks him about it, and he's polite enough to answered when being asked. The other reason is of course that the Chinese regime doesn't let his people live in peace in their own country.
4. The reason he makes those comments in exile and not in China (or Tibet) is of course that the Chinese regime stubbornly refuses to let him set his foot either in China or in Tibet, despite many, many tries from his side to invite them to a dialog and suggesting his visiting them in Beijing.
5. Maybe not letting your enemy kill you just because they want to is "being like a coward", but I really can't see what better could have come out from it if he had been killed and forgotten 50 years ago instead of going in exile and devoutedly spreading his message of peace, love and compassion all over the globe for half a century.
