Would a "mockingbird" have any symbolism of human nature?
If you’ve been hearing an endless string of 10 or 15 different birds singing outside your house, you might have a Northern Mockingbird in your yard. These slender-bodied gray birds apparently pour all their color into their personalities. They sing almost endlessly, even sometimes at night, and they flagrantly harass birds that intrude on their territories, flying slowly around them or prancing toward them, legs extended, flaunting their bright white wing patches.

The Mockingbird or "Mimic Thrush", often lives up to its name.
It has been known to mock or mimic all, or some, of the birds intruding into its personal territory.
Some human beings also have this quality of mocking or mimicking those that intrude into what they feel is their own personal territory.
A cousin of the Mockingbird, the Catbird, also exhibits these qualities.
Another cousin of the Mockingbird, the Brown Thrasher, also exhibits these same qualities.
If one is observant, one will observe many human beings trying to be a mime.
A human being will continue to display the qualities of a mime, until they find the genuineness that lies buried deep within their own inner heart.
